The job holder is responsible for supervising the Government Affairs Department including Government Affairs and VIP Relations


Strategy Management :

Develop performance objectives in coordination with Directorate and continuously conduct progress towards Departmental and strategic objectives and implement periodic performance reports to offer evaluation results and recommend improvements

Department and Team Management:

Implement improvements to policies and procedures in order to deliver high-quality services
Carry-out the day-to-day operations, offer expertise, encourage teamwork and coordinate work processes to achieve high performance standards, meet established targets and engage employee

VIP Relationships :

Manage VIP Relationships Department in order to ensure client satisfaction and retention


Government Services Management:

Define Government/Enterprise growth requirements and coordinate with concerned government and other authorities to facilitate the delivery of Zain network

Regions Management :

Direct Regions Management activities of Zain in order to enhance public relations in the regions and report competitors moves

Growth Requirements:

Assist in defining Government/Enterprise growth requirements and coordinate with concerned government and other authorities to facilitate the delivery of Zain network

Business Deals Development :

Facilitate the infrastructure for other non-technical departments to build up business deals

Special VIP Treatment :

ensure that VIPs have priority access to Zain's flagships and fixed-base operators (FBO) through smart queuing system and immediate welcoming by the Shop Manager in order to maintain satisfaction

Events Invitation Management:

Ensure the dispatch of VIP invitations on a regular basis for all Zain sponsorship public events for retention purposes


Service Management :

ensure free concierge services through Zain call center or though third party service providers ensuring VIPs are being well serviced

Regional Development Implementation:

Oversee the implementation of regional development concept in order to enhance Zain operations in the regions

Relationships Management:

Develop and maintain relationships with local authorities for public relations and to resolve issues that arise in the regions
Build key accounts relations and handle special issues and complaints in coordination with Sectors (i.e. key VIP clients)
Manage and develop relationships with VIP customers (Royal Family, Politicians, Diplomatic, Strategic CEOs/Chairman's/Board Members, High Level Businessmen, Influencers and Strategic Business Partners) to address their needs including collection, complaints handling, etc. ensuring satisfaction
Extend logistic/technical support for concerned non-technical departments and support commercial teams for relationship building purposes
Maintain relations with Government/Enterprise sector ensuring satisfaction

Coordination with Regional Teams:

Coordinate with functional teams in the regions in case of disputes and ensure attainment of requests

People Management :

Develop and motivate staff, conduct the performance, give formal and informal feedback and appraisals and conduct guidance on training programs to maximize employees' performance


 Bachelor's \ Master's Degree is Preferable in Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent

A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience with at least 6 years in a similar role
