WHAT

The job holder is responsible for overseeing the Indirect Sales Department including Indirect Sales Operations, and Strategic Channels and Business Development.

HOW

Strategy Management:

  • Contribute to the formulation and implementation of Directorate Strategy and Plans as befitting the Sector and overall strategic objectives
  • Formulate and communicate the performance objectives and continuously monitor progress and alignment towards overall objectives

Department and Team Management:

  • Manage the implementation of policies and procedures in order to ensure the fulfillment of organizational requirements whilst delivering high-quality services
  • Manage the operations, deliver expertise, encourage teamwork and align work processes to achieve high performance standards, meet established targets and engage employees
  • Monitor implementation of the yearly budget and control costs in order to respect allocated budget

Partnership Management:

  • Manage partnerships with indirect channels such as wholesalers, distribution partners, strategic and alternative partners and POS to sell Zain products

Relationship Management 

  • Manage relationships with existing wholesalers, distribution partners, strategic and alternative partners and POS for business development purposes

Performance Management:

  • Monitor performance of existing indirect partners against set targets and implement corrective action if required

Support Management:

  • Ensure the provision of full support to indirect partners in terms of training, marketing and orders to enhance quality and performance delivery

Sales and Business Development Planning:

  • Oversee the development of joint plans with indirect partners to improve sales effectiveness
  • Review and approve recommended business cases analyzing opportunities or improvements for business growth purposes

Retention Management:

  • Ensure renewal of contracts and payment of commission schemes for retention purposes

People Management:

  • Monitor employee performance and submit continuous feedback to encourage and support  employees’ professional development and guide training programs implementation

WHAT DO I NEED?

  • Master's Degree, Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent
  • A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience with at least 6 years in a similar role
