What?

The job holder is responsible for overseeing the Big Data & Digital Directorate including Planning and Data Governance Department, Analytics and Reporting Department and Digital Team

How?

Strategy Management:

  • Contribute to the formulation and implementation of Directorate Strategy and Plans as befitting the Sector and overall strategic objectives
  • Formulate and communicate the performance objectives and continuously monitor progress and alignment towards overall objectives

Department and Team Management:

  • Manage the implementation of policies and procedures in order to ensure the fulfillment of organizational requirements whilst delivering high-quality services
  • Manage the operations, deliver expertise, encourage teamwork and align work processes to achieve high performance standards, meet established targets and engage employees

BI System Management:

  • Supervise the design of the master data management governance and data mining models, systems and tools for maintenance and reporting purposes
  • Facilitate the translation of data requirements into technical specifications based on agreed service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Facilitate the delivery of requested ad-hoc information system reports as per agreed service level agreements (SLAs) for reporting purposes

Data Research and Management:

  • Supervise the delivery of data requirements based on agreed service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure adherence to requirements
  • Supervise research and benchmarking as and when required to obtain necessary information for analysis, forecasting and reporting
  • Supervise data modeling initiatives to guide the development of customer segments, service and channel strategies (e.g. propensity for take-up, churn risk, etc.)

Market Analysis:

  • Supervise the development of market share analysis (i.e. active base, gross adds and churn) for performance monitoring

Reporting:

  • Supervise performance analysis (actual vs. budgeted) and consolidate performance view to Management on daily/weekly/monthly basis for decision-making purposes

 Cross Functional Initiatives Execution:

  • Monitor the execution of selected cross functional initiatives as per set plans

Corporate Performance Management and Reporting:

  • Supervise the definition and implementation of performance indicators and processes that enable Zain to effectively manage and improve operations
  • Manage and communicate corporate performance reports providing evaluation of performance against plans and budgets

Accessibility Revision:

  • Perform revisions on access privileges on the data sources and all automated reports being published at Zain

Customer Analytics Management:

  • Develop relevant data mining models to ease clustering and segmentation (i.e. value segmentation, behavioral segmentation, demographics segmentation)

Forward Predictive Analysis:

  • Lead forward predictive analysis and disseminate to relevant Sectors to serve for forecasting and decision-making purposes

Execution Guidelines Development:

  • Supervise development guidelines and methodologies for the execution of strategy, business plans and initiatives to ensure timely and systematic implementation

Strategy Execution:

  • Monitor the execution of corporate strategy and Sector business plans

Business and Individual Performance Alignment:

  • Coordinate with Human Resources to align individual and business performance for employee performance management purposes

Digital Transformation Strategy Management:

  • Develop technology digital strategy and digital transformation program activities in line with Technology strategy of Zain
  • Coordinate Zain digital transformation activities with other departments and present digital transformation to executive management

People Management:

  • Monitor employee performance and submit continuous feedback to encourage and support  employees’ professional development and guide training programs implementation

WHAT DO I NEED?

  • Bachelor's Degree ,Master's Degree is Preferable (Management Information System or equivalent)
  • A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience with at least 6 years in a similar role
